A 30% non-refundable deposit is payable when booking with the balance paid 30 days prior to your visit with us. If booking less than 4 weeks ahead, please pay the full amount when booking, in which case the full amount is non-refundable.

In the event of a national or local lockdown preventing your stay from happening, you can re-schedule your stay any time in the following 12-month period for the same cost.

Please do not exceed the amount of guests you have agreed with us (This cannot be more than 5 people in the Lodge and 2 adults + one child in the Hut).
Guests are responsible for their own children at all times. There is a pool and two ponds on the property, all of which are fenced but which represent a danger to unaccompanied young children. The owners accept no responsibility or liability for the safety of children anywhere on the site. The bedroom upstairs in the Lodge with two single beds is a mezzanine level with a glass barrier so guests should consider whether this is suitable for young children.

Please respect the following site rules:

  • No smoking anywhere in the Hut or the Lodge
  • Only the 3 Ps (pooh, pee and paper!) down the toilet please, as White Hill Woods is not on mains drainage
  • No music after 10pm
  • No guests other than yourselves without prior arrangement with us
  • No candles – the Hut and the Lodge are both made from wood!
  • The pool is available for 1.5hrs per day to both the Lodge and Hut guests. Please agree times with us on email or via text.
  • Please use the anti-bac wipes provided to wipe the pool handrail after use, replace the pool cover and bring your own towels for swimming.
Please report any breakages or damage immediately to the owner and make adequate payment to cover loss. Likewise, if the property is left in a significantly less clean and tidy way than when you checked in, an additional cleaning fee may be incurred.
The owners retain the right to enter the property at any time, however we shall only do so when the properties are occupied if there is a problem.
Should the property be unavailable on the day stated all monies will be refunded without question.
In no event shall the liability of the owners to the hirer exceed the rental paid for the property.
While every effort is made to provide the amenities as advertised, no liability will fall on the owner should restrictions be applied in the event of floods, drought, power cuts, or any other circumstances outside the control of the owners.
Please bring any complaints to the owner’s attention immediately so we can deal with them as promptly as possible.
