Local Attractions
Shoreham Village
Shoreham is a stunning, quintessentially English village with the River Darent running through it. Look out for the delightful Honeypot Tearooms, the well-renowned Shoreham Aircraft Museum and the unmissable annual duck race!
The Mount Vineyard
This stunning venue has a retractable roof, allowing alfresco dining in good weather and a cosy indoor restaurant at other times. They serve a range of home-grown wines as well as stone-baked pizzas, cheese and charcuterie plates and ice-cream.
You can also book to do wine tasting.
Castle Farm
This family-run farm a few minutes’ drive from White Hill Woods, is the largest producer of lavender in the UK. They produce seasonal crops all year round which they sell in their beautiful Hop Shop.
Well worth a visit at any time of the year, but particularly gorgeous in lavender season (Jun-Jul) and in September when you can pick your own apples.
Eagle Heights
Eagle Heights, just outside the neighbouring village of Eynsford, is one of the UK’s largest birds of prey centres, but they also have a eclectic mix of other animals including meerkats, storks and a husky rescue centre.
Their bird flying displays are incredible, and they also offer alpaca trekking!
Lullingstone Roman Villa
Just outside the neighbouring village of Eynsford in Kent, which is well worth a visit in its own right, are the beautifully-preserved remnants of a Roman villa dating back to the first century A.D.
An extremely interesting place to visit with a lovely gift shop.

Lullingstone Castle & World Garden
A 5-minute walk from the Roman villa, this is a family estate which dates back to the Domesday Book. Boasting an impressive collection of some of the world’s rarest plants, the family hosts many interesting events throughout the year.
Sevenoaks
4 miles from Shoreham, the jewel in the crown of this lovely market town is Knole Park: 43 acres of unspoilt woodland with its own herd of wild deer surround the stunningly preserved 15th century Knole House.
Sevenoaks market is on Wednesdays and Saturdays, whilst the Stag theatre offers a wide range of films and live shows.
Brands Hatch Racing Circuit
Britain’s most-loved motor racing circuit, a 10 minute drive from Shoreham, hosts some of motorsport’s most prestigious events on two and four wheels.
